What happened in 2021?

We are hopeful for 2021. I hope our team can get back out in the world and attend events! In the interim, we will continue to offer events via our virtual platform, Zoom.

Poison Free Agoura and Poison Free Malibu formed a networking group of poison-free cities. We started our efforts in 2020. Now our teams have banners to share, t-shirts, and masks. Our network includes Poison Free Calabasas, Poison Free Topanga, Cougar Conservancy, Animazonia, and Poison Free Conejo Valley!

We also had two billboards up! One in the valley and one in Los Angeles. We continue to grow our network! 

We hosted five webinars this year with a variety of topics and great speakers! We participated in the virtual P-22 Wildlife Wonderland. Please visit our Special Events page and watch our webinars!

Packets of information in 100% recycled bags will be delivered to homeowners in LIberty Canyon and Old Agoura. Bags were also delivered in the Fountainwood community. Our goal is 100 bags this year! 30 more to go!

 For the last four years, Poison Free Agoura has assisted the City of Agoura Hills with a mailer containing a letter signed by our mayor, bringing attention to the impact of rodent poisons on our wildlife. Included in the mailer is the City of Agoura Hills’ brochure that contains information on our resolution and what businesses can do to prevent rodent issues. Poison Free Agoura mailed over eight hundred mailers. I feel fortunate and proud to live in the City of Agoura Hills. We have wonderful projects planned for 2022, and we could not do it without the support we receive each year!

We always say, "together we are better." The new brochure was a collaboration of our C.A.R.P. team. Many thanks to Silvia Berg of SKS Graphics for her amazing design of our brochure and the C.A.R.P. billboards that are up in Los Angeles locations!
